Terms of Service

1. About us

MyCardVendor ("MyCardVendor", "we", "us", "our") is a digital gift card marketplace operated by CardVendor Limited, a company registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission under RC number 9488962, with its registered office at 6 Ibrahim Garba Street, Katampe Extension, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria. 2. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and CardVendor Limited governing your access to and use of www.mycardvendor.com and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, funding your wallet, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence to use the Service. By using MyCardVendor, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is true, accurate, and current. We may suspend or terminate any account that we believe has been opened by a minor or with false information.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us at support@mycardvendor.com immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss resulting from compromised credentials that you failed to secure.

Each customer may maintain only one account. We reserve the right to close duplicate accounts and forfeit any wallet balance held in them.

5. The Service

MyCardVendor sells digital gift card codes sourced from authorized distributors. We are a reseller — we do not issue the underlying gift cards. Each brand is the property of its respective owner, who is solely responsible for the value, terms, and redeemability of its gift cards within its own platform.

The Service displays prices in United States Dollars (USD). Actual payment is processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) through our payment processor at a conversion rate we set and display at checkout.

6. Wallet and payments

MyCardVendor operates a prepaid wallet system. You fund your wallet in advance, and orders are paid for by debiting that wallet balance. Wallet balances are denominated in USD. Once funds are credited to your wallet, they may only be used to purchase gift cards on the Service and are not redeemable for cash except as required by law or as we may expressly permit in writing.

Deposits are processed by Paystack Payments Limited. By making a deposit, you also agree to Paystack's terms and conditions. We do not store your card or bank details — those are handled directly by Paystack.

Wallet balances do not earn interest and may be subject to a reasonable inactivity policy if the account is dormant for more than 24 consecutive months, in which case we will contact you at your registered email before taking any action.

7. Placing orders and delivery

When you place an order, your wallet is debited and your request is submitted to our fulfillment partner. In most cases, your digital code is delivered within 60 seconds to the email address associated with your account and is visible in your account history.

If fulfillment fails entirely, your wallet is automatically refunded and the order is marked as failed. If fulfillment is partial — for example, some items in a multi-item order could not be issued — we will credit your wallet for the unfulfilled portion and mark those items accordingly.

You are responsible for entering a valid email address and for the security of that mailbox. We cannot replace codes that were delivered successfully but then lost, shared, or intercepted through no fault of ours.

8. Refunds and disputes

Our refund commitments and the steps for raising a dispute are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: if a code we deliver does not work as promised on the brand's platform, we will replace or refund it within 24 hours of receiving a valid report. Delivered and working codes are non-refundable.

9. Identity verification (KYC / AML)

To comply with Nigerian anti-money-laundering regulations and with the policies of our payment and fulfillment partners, we may at any time ask you to verify your identity — for example, by providing a government-issued ID, a proof of address, or information about the source of funds. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to the Service, or withhold a withdrawal or refund, until verification is complete.

We report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities as required by law.

10. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • commit fraud, launder money, or finance illegal activity;
  • purchase gift cards using stolen, unauthorized, or chargeback-prone payment methods;
  • create multiple accounts to abuse promotions, pricing, or rewards;
  • resell codes in a manner that violates the issuing brand's own terms of service;
  • scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Service;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

We may suspend or terminate your account and cancel pending orders if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

11. Third-party services and brands

The brand names, logos, and gift card products shown on the Service are the property of their respective owners and are displayed only to identify the product being sold. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these brands unless explicitly stated.

Once a gift card code is delivered, redemption is governed entirely by the issuing brand's own terms. We are not responsible for changes to a brand's redemption rules, regional restrictions, balance expiry, or service availability.

12. Intellectual property

All content, code, designs, and trademarks on the Service that are not owned by a third party are owned by CardVendor Limited and are protected by Nigerian and international copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without our prior written consent.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardVendor Limited's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. On termination, any wallet balance earned through legitimate deposits will, subject to verification, be refunded to your original funding source where technically feasible.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Service at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Before starting formal proceedings, the parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by contacting us at support@mycardvendor.com.
